OverviewThe wide range of innovative functions that powers the network-compatible Commend IP speakers sets them apart from any classic Public Address solution. The integrated microphone, for example, supports new audio features such as IVC (Intelligent Volume Control) for the automatic adjustment of the volume setting to ambient noise, even during message playback. This ensures a high level of acoustic intelligibility, even at extreme, changeable background noise. Additional benefits include the duplex and call-back functions, as well as the “Audio Monitoring” feature, which allows for ambient acoustic surveillance and automatic triggering of actions such as voice announcements or emergency calls. The different product versions of the IP speakers enable flexible use from rough outdoor areas to protected indoor areas.
Since IP-based speakers by Commend can be used with IoIP and SIP, they integrate easily and seamlessly into Commend Intercom or VoIP/SIP-PBX systems. Another feature distinguishing the speakers from classic Public Address systems is their upward compatibility. This way, a new functions can easily be added via a simple software download.
